"„...eine besondere Erscheinung durch
seine Typbrillianz und die ausdrucksvollen,
kraftvoll abfußenden Bewegungen
machten ihn zu einem sicheren Kandidaten
für das Prämienlot..." Hannoveraner Magazine 12/09
St. Moritz Junior is the epitome of a modern sport horse, he combines enormous power with three fantastic gaits: a lightweight yet powerful trot, an uphill balanced canter and good over tracking walk. In December 09 he was also approved for breeding with the Oldenburg Verband.
Sire: He is from the first crop of foals by St Moritz (Sandro Hit - De Niro) also a Premium Hanoverian stallion, who only competed for 1 season before his tragic accident. He was winner of several Young Horse classes, qualified for the Bundeschampionat & was Champion 4 year old Hanoverian stallion at the 2007 World Championships for Young Horses in Verden. St Moritz is also half brother to another outstanding young stallion Bergerac (Belissimo M)
Dam: Although St Moritz Junior is the first foal from Wie Princess (Wie Weltmeyer - Prince Thatch xx) his dam line has already successfully produced 28 licensed stallions & numerous Elite mares.
Dam Sire: Wie Weltmeyer (Weltmeyer - Dynamo) was Performance test Champion at Medigen before being very succesfully ridden by Emma Hindle.
He represented the UK at the Athens Olympics & was also winner of team Bronze at the European Championships - he has been one of the top stallions in the German breeding index.
G G Sire - Prince Thatch xx (Thatch xx - Stupendous xx) born in 1982 was the first modern ‘dressage specialist' Thoroughbred sire of the Hanoverian studbook.
Bred in Germany, he raced for four seasons before completing his performance test in '89 at Adelheidsdorf where he ranked 3rd for Dressage scoring 132.04 with a jumping score of 103.22.
Prince Thatch xx has continued to demonstrate his value as an improvement sire, achieving a breeding Index for Dressage of 144 as recently as 2008. He produced eight licensed sons including Paris, Princeton and Prince Noir. His most successful competition horse was Piccolino, who competed at the 2002 WEG for Germany & in all his total offspring earnings are 325,541 Euros.
