Souvenir is a long legged big moving stallion with excellent rideability.
He has successfully passed both his 30 & 70 day tests (Adelheidsdorf) & is now life approved. On his 70 day test he finished with an excellent score of 130.53, the prerequisite for a successful breeding future.
His first progeny are now starting under saddle & reinforce his ability as a sire, inheriting excellent movement & rideability - several have been selected for Verden auction.
Souvenir has been line bred to one of the best stallions in Hanoverian breeding, Argentan I, who was awarded the title Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1994 for his outstanding performance in breeding.
Argentan I sired 19 approved stallions including his most famous son, Argentinus, who in '96 was the youngest sire to achieve progeny winnings of over 1 million DM.
Argentan I was also known as a classic "mare-maker" & sire of of 119 State Premium mares & for three years in a row, his daughters won at the DLG shows. Two of these, Aragonia and Arabella became German Champion Mare in 1979 and 1983 respectively. He also produced a number of really great sport horses such as Aramis, who won a World Cup in jumping.
Sire Santorini, by the TB stallion Sunlight xx, was a Celle state stallion trained to S level. He was sold to Canada in 2000 where he has been praised for passing on his wonderful temperament, good athletic ability and exceptional rideability.
GG Sire Novize, by Novum xx, adds another TB component in the third generation of his pedigree.
This dam line has produced numerous successful stallions: Ambiente (USA), Bellini (State Stud Dillenburg), Dezember (Celle), Don König, Großglockner, Rodney King & Performance Test winner White Magic.
