Sambertino is currently the only coloured stallion standing in the UK who has passed a 100 day performance test. This was completed at Neustadt-Dosse, where he was placed 8th out of 43 stallions on test with a Dressage score of 113.99.
His scores included 2 rarely awarded maximum 10's for both Temperament & Attitude to Work.
He has had a successful competition career with both amateur & professional riders in several countries - some of these include:

In 2007 Sambertino was Ranked 2nd Dressage Sire by BEF with 100% 1st Premium foals.
His older progeny are competing successfully worldwide with amateur, professional, Paralympic & Young riders, who have won up to & including Grand Prix in Dressage, Novice Eventing & Showing Championships showing the versitility & soundness of the temperament that he passes on.

Bloodlines
Sambertino decends from the KWPN Worona I-stam which is known as a producer of both International Jumping and Dressage horses.
SIRE: Samber (Pericles xx - Ordonnans) Competed to Grand Prix dressage as well as jumping at Grade A & is the sire of many approved stallions. Known as the stallion with the golden temperament he gained a 10 for temperament on his performance test.
DAM SIRE: Wellington Keur (Nimmerdor - Lucky Boy xx)
Reserve Champion at his performance test & National show jumper. His progeny include 3 KWPN keur stallions - World Cup winner VDL Emilion, VDL Glennridge - performance test Champion & VDL Farrington, now in the USA.
Other Notable progeny include in Dressage Bollvorm's Ceylon & Disconto with SP Deka, Lady Diana,and Ishan DC in Jumping.

Holstein bred Nimmerdor ancestors can be traced back to Achill, founder of the Holstein breed.
He was a World Cup Showjumper and invited to the 1984 Olympics.He was awarded Preferent Elite status by KWPN for the quality of his progeny and perfomance.
Sire to over 50 approved sons and 60 international show jumpers, including Dutch Olympic Grand Prix Showjumper Ahorn, Aram, Daimler, N-Aldato, Heartbreaker, Zadock, Nandor, Fortuna, Coronel, VDL Everest, Broere Goldenridge, Agrovorm's Maywood, San Patrigano, Avenir, Canadian Colours and Ulster, who is the sire of Robert Smith's grey Grand Prix jumper Kalusha.
