Max was decidedly bred to show jump at top level, but he turns out to have a real proper eventer's easy ground covering gallop and a lovely uphill trot, as well as a naturally engaged, balanced canter, so he could probably turn his hoof at any discipline. He also has a very lovely easy laid back temperament, friendly but respectful, bold but not bolshy and picks things up very willingly and easily.
Dam, WINDLE CLARET is half sister to Dag Albert's 2008 Beijing Olympic eventer Tubber Rebel and several advanced eventers and is out of a mare by the legendary Clover Hill. She herself jumped Foxhunters by the time she was 6 years old when her career was saddly cut short by an accident.
